[Sorted!] Stereo/Speaker blanks from Puma
[Hi everyone.

Does anyone have any of the blanking grilles/panels that were fitted to Puma defenders with radio prep only (i.e. no actual speakers or head unit)?

I already have the mock tweeter grilles, so I need:

1) the two covers for the lower speaker holes (I've never seen these but assume they were metal grilles)
2) the blanking cover for the head unit aperture
3) Ideally a pair of rear quarter panels with the blank round recess

Something that doesn't come up on eBay very often - can't imagine many people want them but figured that some forum members may have them on the shelf from past stereo installs. Looking for some in mint condition for another vehicle in the family that is having an aftermarket stereo removed and returned to factory base-spec.

Thank you.[/s]

The blanking plate is still available new from Land Rover for £8 - FBV10065PUY

The rear panels are the alloy ones as fitted to truck cabs and earlier defenders.

I had a base spec utility 07, the lower speakers were blanked with the standard speaker grills, just no speaker fitted underneath them, and the dummy tweeter grilles.

Thank you very much! Had no idea they just used the standard grille for the lower speakers, nor that the head unit blank was so easily accessible. I'll add one to my next order from LRDirect.

At the rear, there were definitely black plastic panels on this one (its a station wagon) - but these do pop up on ebay occasionally for not much money, so I'll grab a set from there.

So, post closed and sorted now.
