That is a good long list, you need to be careful because they could say you car is dangerous and can't be driven on the road - so they would have to repair it or you would need to get it recovered!!
But from my point of view the list would be: - Leak in rear diff input oil seal - advisory if not excessive - Rear axle tie rod end is bent - fail (could be dangerous) - Lower shock absorbers are worn - advisory if split, could be a fail if very loose - Slight oil leak in steering box - fail if bad (if slight would clean off before MOT and then should be okay) - Brake pipes corroded - fail (again could be dangerous is bad) - Front our hub caps split - Not sure they would even comment on this - Rear wheel bearings have play in them - Fail if excessive - One rear hubcap has broken bolt - Probably wouldn't be spotted, and probably would be okay - Slight damage to passenger seat belt - Fail/advisory Hope that helps |

@iforland
Kind of along the same lines I was thinking, I've booked it in for the MOT on the 2nd August, they are happy to hold on to it and take their time, but based on what fails of course. Had no service history with it when I got it, so knew I would be hit with costs at the beginning I intend to keep it for a very long time, so need to get the work done, ideally though not all at the same time Iggy/Ieuan ‐------------------------ Vehicles: - 1992 Ex-Mountain Rescue Ambulance 130/200tdi - 2005 Discovery 3 S - 2001 BMW 535i V8 |

Hi
It's probably worth going on the gov.uk website and checking on any advisories on the last MoT ; If there were were any last time it's highly likely they could well be a failure this time. Hope it's not too expensive ! |

Personally I wouldn't put it through MOT in that condition for fear that the tester could deem the whole vehicle dangerous as mentioned by iforland which will severely limit your options.
I would address the simple issues at least... - Lower shock absorbers are worn - replace bushes. Simple, cheap, quick fix. - Slight oil leak in steering box - clean off prior to MOT then fix ASAP - Brake pipes corroded - mine got an advisory on this. I then replaced shortly after MOT. - Front outer hub caps split - replace with new. Simple, cheap, quick fix - part number FRC4377 or FTC5414 depending on vintage - Rear wheel bearings have play in them - remove flanges and nip up the nut to adjust play. Simple, free, quick fix. - One rear hubcap has broken bolt - Can remove the bolt whilst doing the above and fit a new one. Again, simple, cheap and quick. > 110 XS Double Cab |
