Finally, collected my 110 Hard top D250 S
Finally. Delivered to dealer 29th June.

Collected today from Projex.

Absolutely made up with it. Had a 112 mile drive home. It drives like a dream, so smooth and quiet.

Very cool .. looks great!

Were the calipers painted on it or taken off and sprayed. I have a guy saying he can get really good results in situ but I’m not sure. 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

Thanks, it has exceeded my expectations.

Really smooth engine with good power delivery.

That D300 must be a beast. Cheers Simon

Projex carried out calliper painting, gloss red, just to break the black up! They had it fir a few days, I would imagine they removed them but not sure, sprayed on or off I’m happy with result

They also suppiled and fitted there own side steps which have puddle lamps and the wheels and tyres.

LR dealer painted the front and rear bumpers in gloss black (narvik I think) Cheers Simon

That's a great looking truck, Ryderoo. Love all the modifications you have put on it. I'm hoping to get mine on the 23rd. It's getting the bumpers painted on Monday and then some flaps, side steps and cross bars before I pick up.

I also think your side-boards look a little more subtle than the standard JLR side steps that I'm gonna end up with.

Looks really sick, my kids would say Rolling with laughter

Very nice extra's there, are the wheels giving a firm ride with coil springs or do you have the air suspension? I've stuck with 20's as I've got coils and hate a firm ride but those wheels do look really nice.

Thanks for the comments.

I have coil springs. To be honest the 100 mile plus drive was not harsh at all. Very composed and quiet. I think it was a better drive than my disco 5 with 22’s.

It was a really nice drive home.

Defender has Hawke Halcyons

Disco has Hawke Harriers Cheers Simon

Thanks Kubrick1978, I chose the Projex over OEM as I thought they suited the truck better. They have puddle lamps in them.

I can’t show you them cos my son took the defender home with him this afternoon!

Won’t see it again till Sunday evening, kids eh? Can’t do enough for them! Cheers Simon
