Spare Wheel Cover Wanted
Don't really like my spare wheel sitting in full view....looks far too susceptible to theft (or worse still - attempted theft when the numptie damages my rear door trying to remove it!).

Tight dealer didn't even give me a cover with their name on it - free advertising for them! I thought most dealers put one on for free!

So - anyone got one they don't want for sale?

Ideally meet/collect, as carriage costs are likely to double my price (from what I have seen on ebay anyway!).

Cheers Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

I've just bought a semi-rigid cover from these guys on eBay, which I thought was excellent value for money. They don't seem to have any more listed at the moment, but might be worth an e-mail.

I stuck some stickers on mine Smile

Unless the cover is taken off regularly and dried I found the crud and dampness collects inside them. If you've got a decent spare 'show it!' Looks tidier in my opinion without! Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Apart from somewhere to stick some stickers, the main reason for a wheelcover is to protect the tyre from UV light, which can degrade them. It's a lot more exposed up there than under the arches. Darren

I had a genuine sem-rigid one and it got half-inched and it cost £120 (i cried), so i got one off Ebay from the same company that makes them for the dealers in plain black with no naff writing for £29.99 and it is still there.
They are a must as i have a mate with a 300tdi and he got an advisory on his MOT for cracks caused by UV and the tyre has never been on the road. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

RED-DOT - agree, that's one of the reasons I want one, plus IMHO a shiny new wheel sitting there is an advert for a thief... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)
