Just a quick follow up on this 'modification'.
Ordered the parts from the ebay link posted back up thread. Unfortunately they never arrived and after jumping through a few hoops at the seller request (check at the sorting office, confirm posting address, etc) they eventually refunded my £8.36 today. I now need to order the parts again from a different seller...... ![]() Only wasted a month! |

The fronts have spring clips as standard > 110 XS Double Cab |

I have done this mod on the rear and it works perfectly. No clattery pad noise.

Indeed, you´re right! It seems that Mr. previous owner "forgot" to reinstall them. The springs are LR009769 and pretty pricey. Maybe there is an alternative way to find them. Greetings, ![]() Defender 110 Puma 2.4 |
