I have very good news...
The Vanderhall Brawley is going to be produced in right-hand drive! Click image to enlarge Electric 200 mile range Twin motors Four wheel steer See-through doors More info and video here: https://vanderhallusa.com/brawley/ I contacted the company in the US and asked if they would be producing a RHD version. They said yes, and you can pre-order it right now. The bad news is that this will only be an off-road vehicle as it doesn't have air bags and doesn't meet safety standards, so a rich man's toy. Pity, would have liked to have caused a stir in the car park at Waitrose. Now left. |

Considering that this can be sva'd, I'd think it would be a goer?

I think the lack of airbags (and therefore not suitable for road use comment ) might only apply in the US. In the UK you're still allowed to die like a man register new vehicles without airbags AFAIK 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Well, I'm making an enquiry as to price, and have already contacted an SVA import agent. The Brawley suits me perfectly. I'm concerned what the price will be, though. Now left.

Do you know what's the difference between this and the Navarro they had back in February?

Ooh, like this. Mrs Grenadier is keen on something similar for when we go skiing/hiking so we don’t have to load up and park the Def. Could be an option. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Crikey Supacat, you’re an elephant. If you knew what we’ve thrown at our farmhouse and garden in the interim two years, regardless of the Pandemic, I could have bought one of these, a Nomad, a VW camper etc, many times over. However Mrs Grenadier as the ex banker controls the purse strings and oddly prefers that our home has a 21c interior, utilities and mod cons and not the 19c interior it came with. I’d prefer the car selection, and then sleep on hay and wash in a pale of water. Monsieur Le Grenadier

I think the initial driver to use airbags was because the yanks would not stand for compulsory seat belt wearing!

£34,000 plus shipping. The pre-production trials of the project have been completed and the International Type Approval (Pan European Homologation) is well advanced. The initial production for USA will start in September 2021, units will be in US showrooms in January 2022 and International dealers and exclusive end-users will receive pre-ordered units soon afterwards.
The Vehicle category for the Brawley is: M1 (Standard Consumer Car), requiring a Driving License for Cars, for driving on public roads. If they can do this and make a profit, why can't Land Rover? Why is a Defender £12,000 more than a Range Rover? Why did Land Rover not exploit the Freelander name for a small 4x4? Why is EVERY car on the JLR website left-hand drive (on a British website, when even Peugeot and Renault show RHD?). Why is Eddie Izzard classed as a comedian? I have so many questions Now left. |
