Battery box - remove wheel chock captive bolt?
Anyone managed to remove tha captive bolt in the battery box used to hold the wheel chock down. It is fouling my fitment of dual batteries.

Depends how it's held in. Is it a double ended bolt screwed into a rivnut in which case try unwinding it with a couple of nuts locked together on the thread. Alternatively a decent angle grinder or disc cutter will make short work of it. Steve.

Has anyone any further insight to this topic? I too am running into an interference with this post as I am installing a dual battery tray and I would rather not use the dremel on it in our communal garage if possible... Roaming around 🇳🇴🇨🇭

I left it in as my tray was high enough

Ive now ruined the threads trying to loosen it with dual-nuts and it didnt budge. Time for the dremel....
