Yes I was there helping Rob and Trevor in Rally Control. Apart from the weather on Thursday night and Friday it was a great event with a very good turn out. First outing for my modified 109, had a great time

Yes Threlkeld was on the list of things to visit plus there was the opportunity for some gentle off roading at the site as well.

We were there too. A great weekend and a bonus on Monday as Trevor took us on a days adventure to the Force Crag Mine over the Old Coach Road. The second shot is half way up the Honister Pass, the third the mining museum. Big toys!

I could have spent much more time at the mining museum, always wanted to visit, but kind of ran out of time! I did the coach road too on the way back to the campsite, a good lane. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond..... |

Strang, did you go 'up' the hill with the loose rocks at the Keswick end ? I had enough trouble coming down that section probably not helped by only having high range and no four wheel drive (4x2)! 1984 One-Ten CSW

We left the off road site via a gate and headed up hill, towards a very tight hairpin left turn (I had to shunt in my 88 to get round) then travelled up hill, on what was a very rough loose surface track, so presumably this is the one you mean? Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....
