I’m hopeful 4B4B, just seems so long ago when I ordered it.
It had been pushed back nearly 2 weeks since build date and delivery date. More things to worry about in the world than my Defender delivery. Indeed. Fortunately it doesn't really matter for me when the vehicle arrives. But I can appreciate there are others where their current vehicle is tied into a contract that ends on a set date. Hopefully if it was with JLR, they would be sympathetic to extending things for a month or three. [/quote] Defender 90 HSE 250D 2022MY - Gave up after two failed orders |

Mine was due to be built w/c 18th June but slipped into last week, had the dealer call me (without prompting) to tell me it was built and on it's way. Should arrive mid July but I'll wait until September as I've got a hire car on contact until then.
Hendy Salisbury are the dealers, can't fault them. |

Mine might be on track with yours Ajay Similar dates to yours, confirmed 16.03, spec locked 12.05 build date 08.06, delivery originally 29.06 then slipped to 09.07 delivery.

Possibly on same train but good to know both have been produced roughly to schedule and not stuck in the locked factory this week.
Strangely I'm really looking forward to getting a van, how times change lol. |

Same here Andy, can’t wait for the “van”. Last van I had was a then new 55 plate Astravan Sportive!
Not counting my Urban Truck as a van, it didn’t do a days work whilst I had it! They will be the coolest Vans. Those Astra's drove quite well and quite quick too. My last van in 2013 was a Minivan in black on black with a few nice extra's like sat nav/sports seats/steering wheel etc etc. Great to drive and looked superb but the Defender's going to look a million times better. I've gone Carpathian grey this time with black roof and found some take off new 5098 wheels for £1.2k instead of £3.4k from the factory so I'll have a set of new steelies to keep for winter. Mine might occasionally carry a box or two but will mainly be for commuting 2hrs per day. Pictures to follow |

My dealer called me today, my car was built late last week, he tells me it's already in the UK, how quick is that! I thought it was weeks before they arrived over here and then several more days to be allocated transport to the dealer. He reckons it will be with him early next week. I'm both amazed and a little excited too. Will I be able to delay it until early September...probably not as I'm way too impatient.
Pictures next week at the dealer next. |

That's very lucky and good news.
Mine didn't make it and is now going to arrive too late for me so I had to cancel. But, I did secure another one from another delaer that is already in the UK and available in a couple of weeks so very happy. Similar spec although missing bits that I didn't really need, but D300 rather than D250. Just need to be patient now, which isn't a stong point! 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X |

That’s great news mate. “Patience is a virtue ………….” As my wife tells me as well 😉 Looks like you’ll be getting your van before me after all.
