Hey guys.
Car was making "the knock". Turns out one of my mechanics' "technicians" put an injector clamp in upside down when the rocker cover seal was changed in Jan. Took my injectors out to be cleaned and serviced and found a couple things wrong. There's one outstanding issue. One of the injector nozzles is swollen. I've been scouring the internet to find a replacement and hitting dead ends or not getting replies from people. Click image to enlarge I was also told by Denso in the USA that they don't sell the nozzles to anyone except the manufacturers. It's all quite odd. So I'm looking for: -Valve nozzle (BDLLA153P885) for Denso Common Rail Diesel Injector for Ford 2.2 6C1Q-9K546-BC. Either a set of 4 or 1 (depends on price) to replace the swollen one as I'm worried what will happen if I put it back in. -Injector clamps. |
