What model/spec is my Puma?
My knowledge of Defender specs and models is pretty anorakky up until the 2008 model year. Up to that time I worked in a dealership selling the things, but after that it gets a bit vague. LR seem to have changed the way they specced their cars - introducing packs and odd options that confuse me a bit - rather than the previous simple base/county/XS specs plus the options list.

I would love to be able to find a comprehensive options list for this year, but none of the brochures I've bought so far have this detail (see my other post).

I wonder if anyone might help me identify what model my Defender actually is and which options/options packs have been added from the factory?

I'll attach the full Topix breakdown.

I think its a base Station Wagon (rather than a County). I know it has optional metallic paint (Rimini Red) and that it also has the optional alloy wheel/anti roll bar pack and a tow pack. Beyond that I'm not sure if its bone-stock or not (I'm hoping so as that's specifically what I was looking for).

Its definitely a genuine station wagon and has black plastic wheel arch spats, grille and headlamp surrounds, a plain white upper roof, manual windows, no CL, no aircon and no stereo (only radio prep) indicating base-spec.

But the two things thatare throwing me are the seats - they're cloth not vinyl. The seats appear to be factory fitted but don't appear to be itemised on the Topix build sheet.Secondly it has a centre cubby box, rather than a tray - again this appears to have been factory fitted but again doesn't appear on the Topix sheet - it just says "centre console, base" which I would have guessed would have been a plastic tray.

Would even a base-spec station wagon have automatically have been fitted with cloth seats and a centre cubby box in 2010? Can anyone else spot any factory options in the Topix sheet?

Thank you.

I'd hazard a guess that the seats are cloth because it's a station wagon as I don't think they offered the rear seats in a vinyl finish.

I'm intrigued by what 'Special Value Pack E' might be as it's also on the Topix sheet for my 2013 110 XS... Confused Darren

Maybe these lists from Germany and our 2015 Station Wagon can help (sorry, can't attach PDFs? Sad ).
Over here they were just sold as Station Wagon "E" or "SE". "E" being simple spec'd with rubber mats, "SE" the posh model with carpets Wink
Our's is an "E" with cubby box (CONSOLE-WITH CLOSED BIN) and cloth seats, which were both optional on an "E".
These could be part of a 'Special Value Pack E' which is on our Topix sheet, too. But you couldn't order such a package.
There is no "E package" in the price list, just an "S package" where you also get carpets, which we don't have.
There is an "Exclusive package", which we do have, containing CDL and powered front door windows - uhh, ok, exclusive Smile

Thanks both.

Its a bit of a mystery still. The car was very much stock - didn't seem like an owner had modified it, so I think the cloth was factory fitted (not certain about the cubby) - just can't fid any precedent for it being added as an option to a base station wagon (except in the Europe-spec builds as highlighted by Macfrank).

I've got a 2014 110 SW with Vinyl seats throughout (including the tumble down 3rd row), so they definitely did them. It also has the tray rather than a cubby box.

As a generally low spec ex-military vehicle (rubber mats, black wheel arches, vinyl seats etc), mine surprisingly has air con, central locking and electric windows. I'd be surprised if the military specified the extras, but I suppose it's possible.

Ah, that's shot that idea down, then Laughing

Do you have a Topix-like list for your vehicle, by any chance? I'm curious to know whether it has the mysterious 'Special Value Pack E'. Darren

No, I've not got one.

Where would I go to get one?

Special Value Pack E does sound intriguing...

It's likely the military spec'd some stuff down - vinyl seats being typical. Police do this with the BMW X5 and they come with cloth seats as opposed to the std leather fitment. Rgds.
