Ex sseb 110 rear camera dead

Hi I bought this landrover last year still a few things to do but there is a camera system and lcd monitor a vision techniques system but the monitor is dead just wondering if anyone has any info on this system it may have been deactivated before I bought it has two cameras one above the rear door and a small one for the ball hitch I’ve ordered an inflatable and a trailer so the cameras would be great for reversing

Probably similar to the durite kit you can get.

CCTV is pretty simple though.... 12v to each camera and a video signal back.

So get out your multimeter, check there's 12v at each camera.

Meter out the returning video cable, check there's no breaks in it. If possible try hanging another CCTV camera off of it... any domestic analogue camera will do the job (as long as it's not AHD type, just basic low quality video) so you can substitute a suspect camera.

For the monitor, any screen that has a composite video in (usually a yellow phono socket), or even a TV with a SCART socket you can stuff composite video straight into that to check that the cameras are still working.

Or something like this: cheap as chips!!
