If I wanted off road biased tyres I’d go for Duratracs, purely on aesthetics. They look better. I had BFG on my previous Defender and they always looked a bit square on the shoulder to me. By the way, I can’t believe it’s nearly 11 years since we all went to Morocco! 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy 1968 S2a 88 aka Bob 2014 Jaaaag F Type 3.0 Supercharged. |

I like the look of the Duratracs, but we`ve got Ko2`s on both the Hilux and Amarok and they've been faultless...
Yeah it doesn't feel that long ago does it.... |

This thread is getting like a reunion of people who were posting in the early years of the forum! We'll be telling the youngsters they've never had it so good and how tough it was back then soon.
We just need the likes of Lorryman and Glynparry back now.... |

Surprising how many originals are still here 👍 I said I’d never have another Defender but after driving the new one I was hooked

You always did have a great avatar! I rejoined the LR happy band in April - 5 and a half years after selling my second D3 - there's definitely an element of slipping on an old overcoat automotive wise... I even have a fault on the dash - apart from a self inflicted flat battery my Isuzu of the intervening years only ever had one issuette - dirty fuel filter, which I replaced. So welcome back! She hasn’t aged a bit in 11 years has she😄
After getting rid of the 110DC I bought a VW 4Motion Transporter and converted it into a camper, that was replaced in 2019 with a VW Amarok Aventura which has been great. We also have a new shape Hilux Invincible which being Toyota just goes on and on😄 the Amarok is going but keeping the Hilux as backup😂 |
