My 110 Defender was stolen from my driveway last night at about 22:30. I live in Alton, Hampshire.
This is a picture I took last year whilst waiting for my dog to give blood. Click image to enlarge The police were informed and it's all over the local facebook oages, but I thought I'd post in here as well for information. Thank you for reading More info; It's Belize Green and did go through the Special Vehicles department so has those badges as well. |

Thank you.
It's been a difficult year, but I know it has for everyone. This just makes me think "Why me?". The alarm was set and a bit of extra security and the first we know about it was the engine starting and it driving away. I really hope no one else has to go though this. |

bad news, sorry for you. Have you had a look round the local area? Someone locally found theirs parked up a side street the theory being they were waiting to see if it was fitted with a tracker. 2010 XS USW

Really hoping this gets found Paddie!
First thing I do in the the morning is check outside and make sure the landys still there, can't imagine how your feeling man! Can I ask, although understand if you don't want to answer, what physical security measures did you have in place? In my head I'm thinking what I've got is enough for them to have trouble and delay them enough for me to notice its getting nicked, but as you said the first you knew about it was the engine starting, I worry as I'm sure many others do that these professional scumbags could take anything they want without making any noise or anyone realising until its gone. Again... really hoping this gets found! Stay positive mate! |

I know the feeling, these are very local arseholes that steal these sadly, Some parts of sunderland you cannot leave these a lone for 5 mins, I went to seaham ( local area to me) and with in mins of me returning, i had a car pull up waiting to check my movements out. I never parked it there again, and warned my mam about parking hers there too. I would still check local denes etc, just in case it does turn up there. I have seen a few that have been stolen, are often found not that far from home oddly enough, ( with in the area) mine was found around the corner from me oddly enough, sort to speak.
