BIG GREEN: Modified 90
My pride and joy for the last 7 years. "Big green"

X reg September 2000 Defender TD5
Bought him at 17,000 miles and now at 57,000.

Heres a run down of the work I've had done since 2004 Very Happy

Had lots of different modifications on him over the years.

• IRB Developments economy fuelling remap Stage 2
• IRB Developments uprated performance Intercooler
• IRB Developments top quality Silicon engine hoses
• EGR (exhaust gas recirculator) removed (cleaner engine, better economy)
• Discovery 2 Q-gear Transfer box. (quiet, doesn’t rev like mad on motorways and around town or stress the engine as high as a normal defender, excellent cruising speed, more MPG recorded too)
• Green Performance Air Filter
• Stainless steel Midbox Silencer replacement pipe (Better economy and makes a lovely burbling sound....which I’m missing already.)
• Terrafirma uprated performance brake discs (excellent stopping power) (IRB fitted)
• Goodridge braided steel brake hoses (Just fitted: professionally)
• Brand new Monroe Heavy duty expedition shock absorbers (Just fitted: Professionally)
• Professionally Rustproof Waxoyled by JR Classics near Doncaster
• Brand new genuine part Defender SVX side steps (Just fitted)
• Safari snorkel (Purely for looks, never waded or seen mud in its life! A crime I know...)
• Spare Wheel Carrier with Avon Rangemaster tyre.
• Aluminium Steering guard (for looks)
• IRB developments heating system Rain/Snow cover
• XS front grille with clear indicator lenses
• Leather XS trim steering wheel
• XS trim cubby box/cup holder.
• BFGoodrich All Terrain tyres, PLENTY of tread left.
• Raptor engineering centre console with National Luna battery monitor. Switches are for show and were going to be wired up to spotlights, possible winch and CB radio but didn’t want to go down that route as I would have to drill holes in the bodywork. Looks nice though.
• Noisekiller under bonnet soundproofing.

The only major jobs I've had to have done in that time is a new clutch/flywheel and fuel pump...

Well, the guy in Aberdeen I sold "Big green" to is moving onto a Discovery 4!

If I hadn't already bought my next 90 I would DEFINITELY have bought it back.

If anyone is interested I can pass your details on... Cracking 90. Always was...
