And another one joins the club, just did this myself today. Why have I waited 7 years?! We’ve used the rear seats just twice in that time, yet ‘struggled’ for extra boot space on occasion so much more.

This is a brilliant mod, which like others I’m going to follow with a rear drawer install for space optimisation and security.

Munch90 makes a really great extra tip (especially for quickly learning DIYers like myself), get a wire brush and penetrating oil on the bolts and nuts underneath the bodywork the day before (24 bolt ends and 4 nuts in total).

K9 Transit make a great drawer unit, not cheap new but occasionally come up 2nd hand!

I'm putting mine back in today, with the seats I have a bag of bits from the removal, in the bag are two springs as pictured below, can anyone remind me where they go? I'm sure it will be obvious once i get going.
