yep Series 3, one of the first I believe, chassis number 153.
I do venture up to North Essex although this old lady hasn't been up there for a few years.

Yes, indeed, as I recall they were almost (but not quite) as loud as the Goodyear ExtraGrips used on military lightweights of the same era. You knew they were coming long before you could see them. Very Happy
