You've got no chance with that size, even with a 2 inch lift. They're more than 4 inches bigger than standard and will foul the rear edge of the rear wheel arches and probably also the trailing edges of the front bumper.
Without a lift, you should be able to go up to 245/75, although it might still be touch and go on the rear arches - depends on the tyres. You'll need a lift to go up to 235/85 and will still likely need some minor surgery on the rear arches. I used to run 245/75 x 16 BFG Muds on my 2002 (pre-facelift) with no rubbing issues at all with no lift. When I changed to 265/75 x 16 Muds I had to trim the bottom of the front wheelarch liners by about one inch. Note however that I have a Gulf-spec front bumper and the UK/ROW bumper may be more of a problem. Apart from this the 265s don't rub even on full suspension travel. I am on stock alloy rims but they are the wider option - the standard narrower ones may rub.
You will not get anything larger than this without a lift. With 265s the speedo will under-read by about 10%, it is spot on with 245s. |
