Apparently, the colour is a Saab copper, albeit with a satin finish. I rather got the feeling that my request was an unusual one - having been met with a blank expression I was asked to look through the powdercoater's Instagram feed and pick a colour, which I then complicated with a request for a satin finish. I rather suspect that the result is unrepeatable! Mind you, it's pretty much what I had in mind, so I've only myself to blame if it looks suspect with Carpathian.
I've had mixed reports on whether I should expect some rubbing. At least one chap in the States reported no issues at stock heights with these tyres and 30mm spacers, which push the wheels further out than does the reduced offset of these wheels (ET25, versus the stock wheels' ET41.5, and stock wheels with 30mm spacers at an effective ET11.5, IIRC); but another very recent report that this specific combination does rub at access height. Time will tell. Joel |

Alas, the steelies won't fit the D300 (though I *may* be doing something about that at some point). In other news, it looks like the source which suggested that this specific wheel/tyre combination rubbed has now seen that there is actually zero rubbing at normal height. Thank **** Joel |

Don't you think this tyres are a bit oversized for that car. |
