Following latest Government guidance, and with kind permission of the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, we have got permission to hold a small event on Sunday 16th May 2021 at Bolton Abbey Railway station near Skipton - SAT NAV – BD23 6AF Gates open at 10.00 onwards
As usual, it will be a very informal event, maybe more so this year. The railway have kindly offered us 2 for 1 travel on tickets to travel on the steam train, but please note - these must be booked on line prior to attending. You need to use the code LANDY to get discounts on your ticket. www.embsayboltonabbeyrailway.org.uk (enter LANDY on the first page of the booking form) Whilst this is a series one event, anyone can come along and have a nosey around. FACEMASKS MUST BE WORN ON ALL TRAIN JOURNEYS AND INSIDE ANY RAILWAY BUILDINGS - so if you need the loo, or a brew, please wear a mask. Please check latest Government guidance regarding social distancing etc. Although we are an outside event, please respect each other. Any questions please post here Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond..... |

Thanks for the heads up. The forecast looks a bit ropey at the mo, but if it improves we'll have a run out. It would be my boys first LR show if we can make it 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Had a run out yesterday morning to this event - how nice is it to just wander round some vehicles and a bit of banter. Long may it continue.
Thank you for the heads up on the event, Strang. Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly! |

^^ Thanks - I had not really advertised this too much this year due to covid, but there was still a great turnout of some interesting vehicles. I still wish I had owned a 107 station wagon - and there were some nice ones there. A couple of unusual motors too - the red Grip-Kaross , made under licence in Sweden, and a 4x2 series one.
Quite a few of the series ones there were actually older than the 1954 Leeds built Hunslet steam loco! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond..... |
