Turns out the Defender owner wasn't the first to fall for the blind spot...

Not to be out done.
Click image to enlarge “When @chester.landrover give you a brand new £56k defender 90 for a test drive for the weekend, ignore the reversing cameras and MIRRIORS and just drive it clean off the road into a ditch 👍🏻🤣 Watch the video for what someone panicking does, that’s how you bend an axle 😬 *I wasn’t driving, also never getting involved with off roading with people with no experience, I miss the army 😔 Shout out to the dirt bikers who helped push it out after building up rocks for 40mins 1st 📸 @jpsimages” Click image to enlarge 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

Nice for the dealers that the post shows the number plate............... DSL, want to make them an offer for their heavily offroaded demo car?
I a;so hope that the driver did some repairs to the verge to prevent it collapsing in the next heavy rain, it looks well churned up Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

This is up on the dealer's own page, so they can't be too upset: Click image to enlarge They also got it wet, or in their words "we tried drowning it"... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Quite ~ kids today.... If the bikes weren't there, I might have imagined they'd picked a bridlepath or even a footpath...
Is there video somewhere? |

I didn't think the new Defender actually had any axles. I never look in "mirriors" either.
