Tax, such a dirty word! I wish I was living back in Dubai sometimes.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that because I have an actual build date from the Vista system I'll actually get my car in September, but who knows? |

Got a build date today - 20th Sept, delivery mid/late Oct.
Dealer said that seems to be about the earliest that they are expecting any P400e to be built. Shame it’s so late but I guess it is what it is… probably on a 71 plate I guess… Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

I’m still waiting for my Dealer to get back to me with an update. I have to say the lack of information has been shocking, customer service seems to have gone out the window. I found myself looking at alternatives over the weekend as I was getting so fed up waiting and for nearly the same money I could get a year old Range Rover PHEV, without the wait. Although a RR is not really me, so I guess I’ll probably be waiting until October too 22MY 110 X-Dynamic SE P400e Pangea Green, Cold Climate Pack, Tracker - Order cancelled.

I’m not sure we can really blame the dealers that much; Land Rover obviously just pulled the plug and all we can all do is wait until they gave us a new build date…
But yes, overall it’s a bit annoying - I’d had similar thoughts but to be honest I can manage… it’s also a few extra months for Land Rover to identify and faults and issue software updates etc Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

It’s LR they don’t have any Some of us 90 owners, myself included, had ours cancelled back in February 2020 and had to wait until March 2021. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

Hi, I order my p400e hse in november, my dealer told me delevery in march. After some wait it was delayed to may, june...
Yesterday i’ve got a real update from my dealer from JLR, with for the first time a slot and built date, it’s 20 august for a delivery 11 september. I will have free 11’’4 screen upgrade and i could change colors and option untill 1st of july. It’s the first time i’ve got a order form with the dates on it. We have to do with it, today big delays are not only from JLR, there are everywhere |

I would've loved a P400e but ended up ordering a diesel. I figured this would be my last filthy engine, and when I return the car in 4 years I'll be ready for an electric one then. Sadly the difference for me in cost, with the options I was choosing, was between £58K and close to £75K + going for the P400e. Thankfully in the UK, whilst the first year of tax is a pain, at least it's not 20K Euro!!

Checked with my dealer yesterday. Still down for delivery 17th July. Ordered in November and went back from March.
Dealer thinks it may not have gone back as it was one of the earlier orders and therefore they have the stock to fulfil it. Let’s see |

I couldn’t wait any longer, my dealer hinted that I might be waiting until the end of the year, so I cancelled my order and bought a one year old Range Rover Vogue SE P400e for about the same money. In all honesty I was ever going to do serious off road stuff anyway and the RR is perfectly capable around the estate and is another level up on the comfort and I can still make good use of my solar/battery storage system. My plan is to keep it for a couple of years and then relook at the Defender again. So I shall probably lurk on this forum to see how everyone gets on with their P400e. 22MY 110 X-Dynamic SE P400e Pangea Green, Cold Climate Pack, Tracker - Order cancelled.

Just got a call from my dealer. I originally ordered Dec 2020, then it was reordred March 2021 to the 22MY model for a July delivery. I always thought it would be later than July given it was still unslotted.
Latest update is Land Rover have informed them that production of most models for 2021 has come to a halt. So any unslotted orders have now been pushed to 2022, so if I still want the PHEV Im looking at Jan/Feb 2022. Disaster! |

I know for a fact that there are some P400e's already built for customers and they are on their way to be delivered.
But, has anyone here already received theirs? 22MY Defender 110 P400e SE w/ Off-Road Pack, Driver Assist Pack, Cold Climate Pack, Comfort & Convenience Pack + ClearSight Rear-View Mirror & 11.4" Infotainment Screen |
