Does JLR have any plans to follow this excellent example?
Bank of Dave (@FishwickDavid) Tweeted: Ive ordered a car for my birthday in March & they send you updates & photos of your car being built live at different stages of the production line. Here it is.. Can you guess the model? https://t.co/T6XMrFah2o https://twitter.com/FishwickDavid/status/1361593107649814528?s=20 Click image to enlarge |

With live web cams and the fact JLR send you a pre inspection video link prior to service or warrantee work I can’t see why not.
It would certainly make the buying experience more personal to the individual. |

I suspect Industrial Espionage risk would prevent this - I had a tour of the EMC a few years back and ISTR they were sh*t hot on "no photos" (as they were many many many moons ago at the old ICL Manufacturing Plant I used to work at in the 80's). I have brought this option up in a long rambly email I sent to LR last week as part of how they could improve the new car buyer experience... Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
