There is a thread on here explaining this. I think the dealers are allowed to 'adjust' the mileage as long as its not gone over ? say 10 miles and they can do it twice. sumit like that anyway. 130's have feeling's as well you know

I'm curious about this as well. I don't remember seeing this option on IDS or the MSV. When I get back home I will recheck the IC settings pages to see if this is possible at any mileage though I would think that would be illegal. Had a search for the post Andrew but didn't find it, any clues on who posted it?

I just did a search and cant find it, I think Ken has the info. I think this can only be done whilst the vehicle is still in its delivery mode, As soon as the vehicle goes through its PDI the function is locked out, 130's have feeling's as well you know

some manufacturers offer this, so if the dealer has to do extended road tests they can 0 the odo up to a max of three times and it must done before 80 miles is reached each time. 2.4 90 XS

The odometer reading is only relevant to the drivetrain anyway as the engines are bench run for the equivalent of 1,000 miles apparently John

yes, dealers can reset mileage and sync new speedo headunits to vehicles, but in my experience, they connect the car to their computer and land rover technical services (headoffice) remote into the dealers/garage and make the change, this is exceptional. dealers can see the settings but do not have the 4 digit code to unlock the greyed out options.
