OEM Rubber Boot Floor Liner with the flap that flops over bumper works really well
Not a great photo, its a still taken from a video shot by my Ring Spotlight Camera that watches over my Defender on the drive - and it was raining - but at least you see its size (flap is folded under at this point) Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history) |

I’m using new defender parts boot mat, decent quality and a fraction of the cost LR charges. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Have you tried that checker plate rubber matting? It usually absolutely stinks.

Yes I have tried it and installed it in de rear. Most time consuming is making it fit tight and neat. No notable smell more after a few days. Heavy material, easy to clean. Not very expensive Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge No Mud flaps for my 90.! ----------------------------------------- P300 S MY21 on air, adv.+ offroad pack, DRL+fog, Dinamica Suedecloth + Ebony headliner/Cross Beam- Many Mods.. |

I have the Land Rover quitled liner. Expensive at £300 but it is well made and fully protects all the sides. I then have a Travall dog guard which has tensioners to the tie downs on the floor and the liner has little velcro doors for access.
All works very well. I also have the Travall rear inner door. The only snag with it is that it prevents the hatch on the floor frm being opened. Expensive, but not a lot in relation to the cost of my 110 HSE P300 |
