I don’t normally go to that effort, it was more to see if it could.

Update on the 90 is, well there is none, can’t get it booked in with my supplying dealer. They’ve no loan cars until June, so will look at other dealers within the group. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

It’s a Land Rover that’s what’s wrong Laughing

Something is rubbing somewhere on the rear N/S when braking, had LR Assist out to look at it but he couldn’t see anything obvious that’s causing it though at least heard it and acknowledged something isn’t right and said its a job for LR. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

^^^^ touch wood, mine is absolutely fine, not a jot wrong with it - even got the ladder unlocked and unfolded at the weekend for the first time (with some help from Gareth) - its a pig to open, I'm hoping it will get easier over time.

I 100% guarantee that if you get a drive in one, you'll be disappointed by your VAG-mobile every day afterwards, and you will start missing the LR ownership experience very quickly Thumbs Up Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Had to get out of the house yesterday evening. Wife on a conference call.
So, decided to fill the tank and go for a drive.

Headed out through Alderley Edge, past all the Lambo’s, Range Rovers and Urban’s, over to Macclesfield.

Weather looked rather angry up over the hills, so went up the Cat n Fiddle road. Now it’s run in properly I admit I gave it more beans than I have been. What a car! The engine is superb and the gearbox in sport actually suits it very well. It handles great, and the brakes are very powerful when needed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my little drive and it felt a safe place to be in the heavy rain/hail/snow.

Probably, but I just can’t justify spending that amount of money on another car that will do even less that the 3 we have now. The only justification I can think of is “you can’t take it with you” but that’s not the most sensible approach.

Unfortunately SWMBO is an ex-accountant so man maths doesn’t work in our household. Sad

PS Plus I’m getting to used to mid 50s mpg malarkie. Whistle Whistle

DSL - my longest drive away from home since last October over the Rest and Be Thankful in awful weather conditions - it would have been better had I not had a comfort stop4 miles from my destination. Those last 4 miles were down hill on a very steep road!

Dealer coming to pick the 90 up Monday morning, hopefully something simple, because other than the mysterious noise it’s an absolute joy.

A couple of bits and pieces turned up for it today, the load space tread plate and the sports pedal kit. Hopefully fit them this weekend. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
