So I’ve had my Td5 90 as my daily for over 12years now, when I purchased it in 2009 it had 28,000 miles her and was duly named Gerty.
I met my partner in 2010 and Gerty has been there through everything, seen many holidays towing our caravan around the country. Many trips to Derbyshire county team shoots and even on holiday to Northumberland when I proposed on the beach near Bamburgh castle in 2017. So maybe her most important trip to date. Bring me and my partner Leah to Gretna for our wedding, we should have gotten married last April but the world kinda went on pause due to Covid-19. Gerty preformed brilliantly bring us the 190miles to Gretna and now over to Just south of Stranraer for a short honeymoon. She’s now nearly touching 160,000miles and I still can’t imagine driving anything else! The now brother in law has came up in his 90 and the power steering pump went which I had to change the day after my wedding! Bloomin typical! Anyway here is to a much loved family member, Gerty. Great story, I've had mine coming up to 10 years now, it was a 30th birthday present...just waiting for some "ups" in life to report about. 2011 110 USW
