First potential issue
Bit of a noise coming from the brakes on the near side. It sounds like a grinding/rubbing noise, it may be a stone but I’d have though that may be more of a screech noise? I may take it to Kwik Fit and get them to whip the wheels off and have a look. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

You can usually get a stone out with some short sharp reversing. Have you tried that? Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I’ve had another drive and nothing, all is quiet. So more than likely just a stone, I have been on some dry dusty roads. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Well the mystery noise returned today so called LR Assist out, they were pretty good, kept me updated on ETA. An AA van was out within 40 minutes. Took it for a little drive, replicated the noise, so he whipped the back wheel off and checked the brake over, no stones, no sign of any issues but he acknowledged there’s an issue somewhere. So now it’s to be booked in with the dealer for further investigation. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

There seem to have been a spate of cars with bent or not properly fixed on heat shields that have been causing strange noises. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

J77 - is it a million point turn to get the car in the drive that way around?

No, a couple of cuts and it’s in, it usually just gets parked at an angle. This one was more challenging Click image to enlarge 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

Before driving up the wall best select off-road height.
