Not seen one of these before. Something unique or merely rare from many moons ago?

Looks very 'Jeep'esque, possibly a modified wrangler lid?

If it is modified, it's been very well done. Very good fit. I was wondering if the mid section houses a hooped roll cage? Would be fun in the sun. Monsieur Le Grenadier

I'd suggest it's something unique to France. They have a history of providing bespoke and unusual hard and soft tops for the 90. Darren

Interesting, does very much look like it was a North American market focused item, as Camelman says, perhaps to compete with the Jeep market. In certain regions I'm sure it would work well. Monsieur Le Grenadier

It's got a local plate, so I'll keep an eye open for it over summer in case it's 'naked'. Monsieur Le Grenadier

This actually looks good - i wonder if it had been inspired by the freelander 1 hardback - there is a company in Essex UK that is replicating a similar 3 in 1 design |

I've seen VERY similar parked up near us, it turned out to be a Santana. But if I recall correctly, the rear lamps were different to a UK truck, whereas those in the pic seem the same.
But worth some research by the rivet-counters? Peter |
