The Star at Harome has a lovely B&B at Cross House Lodge. The Star is a fantastic restaurant situated just outside of Helmsley.

I suppose it depends where the wedding is being held, either way you will not get the multi-storey secure car parks attached to multi-national hotels unless you stay large towns like York or Harrogate. It is a mainly rural agricultural area with county type hotels.
Nearer Yarm is the Cleveland Tontine, with a small car park and Crathorne Hall on the outskirts of Yarm. Redworth Hall just south of Darlington has large car park. Nearer Thirsk is the Black Swan in Helmsley with a car park at the rear. Jeff Ex 1968 Series 2A Ex 90 TD5 Ex D3 Ex D4 |

No, I didn’t expect a fancy multi-storey to be in the area
The wedding is at Crathorne, so I’ll have a night there which I’m looking forward to. It’s just the night before I don’t want to be leaving the 90 somewhere it’s likely to be eyed-up . . .
