2480kg sounds high - the weight increase of the 6 cylinder (including all the MHEV stuff) is supposed to be 90kg.

Just watched it, I suppose LR will weigh it bare bones.

Doesn’t really apply to Deafners, it’s that the increase in cost tips them into £40k plus list price territory hence the increase in VED for 6 years. Unless LR have brought in a sub £40k model.

The 40K boundary is such a stupid divisive thing - at the very least it should rise each year by some measure of inflation
