"The A&E network and Land Rover North America are partnering on a new documentary called "All You Need To Know: Overlanding." The 60-minute doc premieres on Sunday, April 18 at 10 p.m. We're guessing LR loves this project as its cars, particularly the Defender, have been historically known for the practice. Though they haven't been the only ones. ..." -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

Does anyone know or have any information on the new Defenders reliability, customer satisfaction, vehicle issues, complaints etc?

It’s a bit early to tell. The impression I get is that the vast majority of cars seem to be trouble free. The ones that have vehicle problems do seem to have parts supply issues. This has probably been an issue for production as well as parts replacement. No doubt covid and Brexit didn’t help.
Software and related updates do get mentioned as an issue for many. It seems a bit inconsistent. My personal gripe is poor documentation, and little information on the updates I’ve received. I would not change my decision to swap my Disco 4 for a Defender 110 though. It is a far better car in so many ways. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy 1968 S2a 88 aka Bob 2014 Jaaaag F Type 3.0 Supercharged. |

For the US market in particular, but other markets in general, there's always the NHTSA: Click image to enlarge |
