16 days - you know when it happens because you get an email from Gerry
and mine took another 83 days to get into my grubby mitts after that. YMMV... Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history) |

Same boat as you Rich, ordered mine on 16th March, last update I got was in Holding Pool. Jasperoony posted he got a build date yesterday (I think, or maybe day before) and he was a couple of days ahead of me ordering, so I’m hoping to get an email or phone call next week 🤞🏻 Which will be approx 4 weeks from paying the deposit to build date. Cheers Simon I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you 1990 110 TD5 county, my first Land Rover - gone 2012 Discovery 4 XS SDV6 - gone 2014 Discovery 4 XS SDV6 - gone 2015 Evoque SD4 dynamic - Wife’s - gone 2015 Urban Truck 90 XS Santorini Black Hard Top - Reluctantly gone 2020 Discovery 5 Eiger Grey 3.0 SE - gone March 24 2021 Defender S D250 Santorini Black 110 HT - gone March 24 2023 Evoque P300e SE wife’s current vehicle |

Ordered mine 3rd March.
Was told verbally by dealer that order was accepted by factory and out of holding pool on 26th March. Build date is marked now 18th June. However, I've only had one email from official JLR (something about choosing accessory packs) and nothing in writing to confirm build date, which makes me a little sceptical. |

I ordered mine Def 110 SE on 27th January I was told it will be delivered mid September.
Last week my dealer called me that delivery date will be 20th of September. But it is too early to know the build date. I suppose it will be built in July or August. 22MY Defender 110 (actual) | 10MY Freelander 2 (history) | 15MY Discovery Sport HSE (history) Last edited by cyberhusky on 14th Apr 2021 10:24am. Ordered mine 16th March.
Dealer contacted me yesterday. Build date 8th June. Delivery date 29th June So if all falls in place should be 3.5 months start to finish. Glad you got a date, I’m still waiting, but judging by your experience I have another 2 weeks to wait before getting a build slot.

I placed my order the day before the dealership received their allocation. Dealer knew allocation would be told to them the next day but did not know how many. My sales rep seemed legitimately excited we received the order detail that day, with my name on it and all dates. Maybe she was playing me, but I genuinely believe she was excited and surprised. She said they just don’t know. On the order detail report it lists five dates- last amendment possible, build date , delivery date, accepted delivery , and planned handover. Good luck! |

It took a couple of weeks before I got a build date - when you get the email from Gerry you know you're on the list! Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history) |
