Cheers. No, I got the lot from VGS. Glass and frame all ready to rivet in and a whole load of rivets!
Old windows are still in the original frame. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

I literally don't recognise a new defender until it has gone past and notice the rear lights. Which to me are the most unique part of the new model. Easy mistake, so don't feel bad. Next time I have to pay attention to any front grills with a huge CD/DVD slot, driving towards me |

Fitted new roof bars from Qualan. Really well made and a great design. Will be adding to these once the roof tent is on using Qualan’s M rack system:

It’s is very good, really well thought out with lots of customisation possible. The guy who makes them, Marek, is great to deal with and the price is very reasonable for what you get.

Busy day yesterday with Roy5695
Fitted new Ore wheel carrier and managed to fit the existing spare wheel lock without having to modify any part of the wheel carrier (didn’t want to mark the coating as it has a 5 year warranty) Very impressive piece of kit, extremely well made in Great Britain well packaged, everything is in the kit including excellent emailed instructions. Thanks to Chris at Ore. Having fitted that meant we could alter the Nakatanenga rear door strut so the backdoor opens more than with the standard wheel carrier and 265 tyres. Next on the list was to move the 7 pin trailer plug into the rear cross member, made easy with a nicely machined piece from Ian at IRB. Then inside to fit a fast charge Blue sea USB from Mud UK. Oh and a new Sat Nav but we won’t mention why that was needed. Thanks as ever to Roy for doing all the work as I handed him tools and offered words of encouragement Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 2015 HT XS 90 2008 SVX 90 2000 XS TD5 90 |

Thanks Andy, being able to open the door just that little bit further makes such a difference. Any plans to get to Cornwall this summer? 2015 HT XS 90

Very nice indeed Simon. I think I’ll end up doing the tow bar electrical thing. Roy is a good boy isn’t he?!

It’s a subtle but smart change, Roy is a great fella just don’t ask him to hardwire your Sat Nav. 2015 HT XS 90
