Swedish here, but unfortunately it's the same situation here, only front DRL's are active during daytime and when it gets darker the low beam and rear lights switch on.

Thanks for your info of Sweden. My dealer is researching,
Let say 10/15 years ago it was all about saving energy of the rearlights. By now the Led technology is very efficiënt. So safety first - but I also like the looks have them on always No Mud flaps for my 90.! ----------------------------------------- P300 S MY21 on air, adv.+ offroad pack, DRL+fog, Dinamica Suedecloth + Ebony headliner/Cross Beam- Many Mods.. |

It’s always puzzled me why DRL,s were never compulsory on the rear as well as the front especially considering our dreary grey winters

Still nothing from my dealer or JLR.
Found out myself: if I put them in city mode + front fog lights - after starting and before driving, they stay on on the rear, Not perfect, a bit annoying driving by daylight with foglights No Mud flaps for my 90.! ----------------------------------------- P300 S MY21 on air, adv.+ offroad pack, DRL+fog, Dinamica Suedecloth + Ebony headliner/Cross Beam- Many Mods.. |
