'Bertha' my 200 tdi, 130 Ambulance / camper
Hi all,

Officially now a member of Defender.net after finally getting my hands on a proper Land Rover again

I've previously had a 1960 Series 2, and have owned three discoveries and a Freelander - Currently driving a MY05 Disco 3 as daily use, and have now added this ex mountain rescue Ambulance to my collections (Also own a 2002 535i V8 Cool )

Went to pick it up today and after a fairly uneventful journey via two trains, I've now brought it home

Also planning a 'Test' camp in the field tonight....indeed writing this post as I sit sipping a cider Very Happy

Some pics:

Next to the old trailer that's being picked up tomorrow

I think the wheel will need to be moved, not much of a view Laughing

Nice to be back in a proper Land Rover Thumbs Up

Journey home was + miles, very uneventful, cruises nicely on the Motorway at 60mph, although speedo reads 70 Laughing

the 200 tdi, seems very smooth and solid and everything seems to works at the moment

Initial plans are to look at the mechanics first, then start to work on converting the inside to be a slightly higher spec (For SWMBO to join me)

Watch this space
