This is not intended as a dig at the OP but a genuine puzzling observation: given that the car was made by the Reliant motor company and was a model called the Robin, it is a Reliant Robin, not a Robin Reliant, yet nearly everyone seems to call it the latter now, not the former. Why?

It would like talking about a Mondeo Ford, Minor Morris, or Mini Austin.

Probably because, subconsciously, Robin sounds like a more appropriate first name. Darren

it's a bit easier to say that way round too.
Used so often with with Robin first, that I didn't think about it.

That one above appears to have a VW Beetle engine in the back.

reminds me of an article in an off rooad magazine years ago called P*ss Wheelin'.
The bodies were ripped off and some bed frame added and then driven around stubble fields Thumbs Up

Fit wider rear wheels to a reliant robin and it will take corners better, looking at that. Whistle Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
