2013 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black

Rear Wiper Motor - Bracket?

Can anyone tell me if the wiper motor for the rear door of a 2013 90 should have a bracket holding it on? As you look at the inside of the door, there is of course the one on the right side with a rubber bushing that is part of the wiper motor itself and which the central locking actuator bracket bolts onto, I just need to know if there is supposed to be anything on the left hand side of the motor?

No, it's just fixed on the right side (and through the wiper hole, of course).

Here's a picture of a door with only the wiper fitted that shows it clearly:

Thank you, it was those extensions with holes in either side that made me think there should be something else for it to bolt onto but nothing is there!

That clears that up, thanks again.

I think they're a hold over from the earlier door and were the mounting points for the wiper motor cover (picture pinched from the web):
