No, it's just fixed on the right side (and through the wiper hole, of course).

Thank you, it was those extensions with holes in either side that made me think there should be something else for it to bolt onto but nothing is there!
That clears that up, thanks again. |

I think they're a hold over from the earlier door and were the mounting points for the wiper motor cover (picture pinched from the web):
