WLTP 90ht vs 90

So normal 90 for example shows combines of 32mpg verses a 90ht of 29mpg, same engine etc etc and in fact unladen 90ht is lighter...

So do wltp test vans differently to cars?
Co2 show much higher too on 90ht model, I can only assume they apply different rules?

Having said all this I would also assume that the figures achieved by the normal 90 are easy enough to achieve with the HT if not loaded etc?

Just always wondered why the figures are different, when it’s basically the same car

Wondered that myself. Asked over on the commercial thread but nobody seemed to know. The HT also shows a slower 0-60 (albeit 0.1S but same 0-62). 9.1s vs 9.2s. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

Yes noticed that too, slower 0-60 time when it’s a lighter vehicle?

Surely someone on here will have the answer

At a guess the fill the load area with its designed weight for the testing... but thats a guess only..
