I know BMW’s from the e46 model onwards do that (stops heal and toe 😢) but if you disconnect the MAF then no problem on accelerator and brake. Maybe the defender has the same, not tried heal and toeing in the defender yet 😂😂 Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

Yes, entirely normal on the Puma, and in fact normal on most drive-by-wire vehicles. it's also very annoying if you need to dry the brakes, or keep them dry when fording by keeping light pressure on the pedal. (It is also a subject I have vented about several times before on this forum!) |

You can heel/toe in a Puma - standard daily practice. It's a driveline preservation technique as much as a performance technique.

So good to know it’s possible, I know it’s good for the power train etc just on more modern cars I normally hit an issue when you press the brake pedal the accelerator basically is useless. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

Funny I thought the car was broken........this is the third 2.4 Puma that I have had and had not noticed any issue on the previous two Pumas.
