I have a 2.5L can of Land Rover Caledonian Blue ([JUT,507] 1K Enamel Brushable - Corvette from Advanced Paint which cost £45 ex vat & delivery https://www.advancedpaints.co.uk/product/l...nian-blue/) I thought it was a different colour (!) and its obviously not, and so have obtained the colour I should have got, Oxford Blue and rollered it on and I am delighted with the result. Despite the blowing seedheads, birch pollen, bird poo, leaves, feathers and several flies that decided to atttach themselves to it as I did the various sections, it was easier than I thought.
I tried the Caledonian Blue when I got it so the tin is open, but only used a small amount, so there's a good bit more than 2L left. From my rollering experiment I would predict that there's probably enough in the can to do a 110 with a roller, but certainly enough for a 90. Given the ludicrous delivery costs for it to go anywhere else, this might suit someone in the Highlands who may be in the Inverness area in the foreseeable future and needs some paint to use to amuse themselves during the next lockdown (! 😞 ) and who can collect it/meet me. Also making a donation to the forum coffers would be good - maybe £15? If you are that person let me know and donate and we can arrange collection whenever. |
