Yes I set up the payee the night before, but we did have a hi-cup when sitting in the showroom as the limit for transfer was too low for type of transfer. After peering at phone for a we while we found an option to change the transfer limit there and then. So we did that, just as well we had the RBS card reader with us to enable that. This has just reminded me that I should change it back down for safety sake! Car is awesome, just take the directions on the sat nav with a pinch of salt! Second day of having it and we were getting taken down farm tracks, not that I was complaining, although the nice and shine car is no longer nice and shiney, must be a special Defender setting 90S D250 fuji and loving it. |

So I was told - this afternoon. I'm uber busy wth work this morning till 12.30 - if I haven't had the email I was looking for then I shall be contacting the dealership - I'm a bit annoyed to be honest because they've gone shtum right at the critical point. But twe shall see... Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Hope it all works out.
One reason I dumped Guy Salmon was their utterly useless communication standards. Williams were very good. Always got a phone call back if I couldn’t speak to whoever I needed to straight away. I’ve Not experienced service yet, but had some Jaguar parts from them and that was ok. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy 1968 S2a 88 aka Bob 2014 Jaaaag F Type 3.0 Supercharged. |

Yes - but thinking about it as long as they don't fit each bit serially it won't take more than a few hours.
So according to Vista it's 'in transit' (i.e. somewhere in the UK heading for the dealership) so it may get to the dealership this afternoon but I know that stuff has to be put on which is why (in my mind) there's no chance today. My wife and my daughter were out at lunchtime and took a loop around the dealership to see if they could see mine but as they told me "there's a few obviously just arrived in the carpark but there were only white roof ones, not black"... Mine having been delayed from 2/4 to 9/4 (no explanation as to why) is currently sitting in 'market distribution'.
Dealer is waiting on five Defenders, two of which are now "on truck to retailer" (not mine, of course ). The dealer has no control over what vehicle goes on what truck so it is complete luck. It could be delivered tomorrow, it could be a week on Friday. Hopefully yours is on the way SN. Nothing worse than getting all excited for a certain date and then being told it will be a couple of days longer. |

3pm vehicle not yet at dealership
I'm starting to think either I'm not being told the truth or my salesman cannot be bothered to go digging to find out the truth. I've laid it out to him I must have I tomorrow at the latest Glorious sunshine here too, barbecue is ready and about to be lit and I'm about to say "f*ck it" and go and get ! Frustrating for you Steve. It will turn up sometime, so there's no point in getting angry about it. When it does, bring it round here for a shufty 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV
