I’d miss the arm rest, though I’d have a pretty obscure use for the “walk through” bit. It would be very handy for shuffling over to grab the toll ticket for Mways sur l’continent where I don’t have a tag, similarly for paying. Also ferry ticket booths. Thinking Polish motorways and bridge from Denmark to Sweden. That all assumes we will ever get over there again. But saying that, a 500 mile long haul leg with no LHS arm rest, or 4 consecutive days like that, might make me change my mind. Suppose the advantage of the jump seat is it gives an armrest when it’s folded down but flip it up to allow shuffling. |
