Re the question of whether full leather or fabric + leather, this is from a 21 plate 90 advertised privately on AT. Deffo full leather. Thumbs Up

DSL,

What trim level as it doesn’t look like the Windsor full leather in our HSE.

S according to the add. Will try and find a link.

I don’t think they’d have shelled out for Windsor leather or it would say.

DSL,

Spec says standard roof and silver sparkle wheels.

Doesn’t tie in with the fabric roof and steelies!!

I’d say they are “leather and robustek” seats.

Spec is prob auto-fed into the ad from what the standard S would have, AT system prob can’t cope with the fact that peeps downgrade their wheels.

(EDIT - blind man Embarassed went and rechecked on laptop - clearly ebony! doh!) - it'll be ebony grained leather (which replaced the problematic fabric) but not the swish windsor leather of the higher models - I do seem to recall the same 'two grades of leather' approach going right back into D3 days, Gareth and I had similar aged D3's at one time, mine was an SE with one type of leather and Gareth's an HSE with a better spec of leather. Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

“ It won’t be ebony for obvious reasons”.....what reasons?

Ebony is Black, Acorn is a Beige colour!

That is definitely, absolutely, categorically, Ebony.

Think of a piano keyboard, Ebony & Ivory!!😀

ISTR I was off-roading in my D3, properly, within a couple of hundred miles of new. The only problem my dealer had with warranty work was the mess she would leave on the workshop floor! Laughing Laughing

She even looked shiny! Shocked Shocked

So was supposed to be at the dealers on Friday. Should we have a sweepstake to see how long it takes them to contact me? Itching to contact them but a bit loathed to, it's their job. 90S D250 fuji and loving it.
