Profiles, Keys and Seats
Hi All

So new to the Defender, and the literature appears to be non existent.

Can anyone enlighten me on how to associate profiles with keys (so the missus and myself can set the car up to how we like it) and will this also automatically adjust the seats to the right position. We have a 7 seat First Edition if that helps identify what kit is on the car.

Watching with interest because I too have been trying to get this to work. No joy so far. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

We have created profiles for both drivers, but when you get in the car, it uses the last used profile, not one associated with a particular set of keys.

I'd like it to default to my profile with my keys and my wifes profile with hers.

That’s the same as mine. I think the option in settings to use the key to recall profile is not working. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

I can't even see a setting...

Out of curiosity, do both profiles have online accounts? At the moment only I have an online account and I wonder if that is why.

Only I have an in control account, my wife doesn’t. But I don’t think that has anything to do with this issue. I thought in control was purely about the LR Remote app, and the vehicle it refers to.

I haven’t put any in control settings in for my wife’s account, maybe just duplicate mine? I’ll try that after dinner. 👍 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Hi,

I’ve just set up two profiles for myself & SWMBO.

It allows me to allocate her phone and Incontrol account to her profile and mine to mine.

It took a few attempts to accept my account as the car is on her account but it eventually took it.

I can see nowhere to associate anything other than Incontrol accounts, phones and media favourites to each profile.

It also doesn’t seem to switch between allocated phones when changing between profiles if both phones are in the car.
