Good thinking Derek. I was unticking dealer fit stuff until a week before I got it. Dealer was only too happy to say they would fit bits later if necessary. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Bloody hell. I'd go insane if I had a countdown app. Had a hard enough time not counting down months yesterday when was out roaming around some local mountain roads on the Mutleystrada! You're a better man than I! I'd be totally spare and it's been about a month since I got the order in. |

He confirmed previous dates of Build 5th March and At dealer 26th March... |

yep it is very boiler plate - but nevertheless it gave me reason to contact Guy Salmon - and I've asked for a Vista screenshot too to ensure there is no, how shall we say, obfuscation of any relevant facts in respect of my order...

One phone call later - all my dates are still as was, though I need to adjust my countdown to 2nd April now
So 28 days to go! But another interesting story around Chinese Shipping Containers unfolded - don't know the truth either way but a quick google does seem to infer there is an issue and its that of container availability for shipping stuff from the far east (not quite what my salesman was summising) - there is a shortage on that side of the world which is driving per-container shipping costs through the roof... apparently the west is hoarding containers holding stuff they've got stacked up not being consumed because of COVID and the associated downturn. Well just spoke to my salesman - mine is BUILT.
Also goodnews, he has been pro-active over the dealer fit stuff and all my bits are tucked up safely at the Dealership waiting for the cars (he is waiting on more than just mine)
