Got to love the FOI process and some of the things asked.
This was posted in response to a question on vehicle tyre consumption: Click image to enlarge https://www.gov.uk/government/publications...ruary-2021 |

Probably someone from a company selling tyres abusing the FOI system to try and get info on their usage. Happens all the time sadly.

Shame the info (I would suggest) is incorrect....
They state that the prime vehicle uses the same tyres as the 1.13t (Penman) trailer.... Every penman I've seen has Michelin XZLs Most Pulse (and TUM) factory fresh use Goodyear G90's.... ok they get replaced wither either G90's or XZL's in service. I'll go kick some tyres and grab my thermos.... |

+1 The NHS get this sort of thing all the time. Like Retroanaconda says, suspect many are lodged by companies trying to interpret when commercial opportunities might come up. I'm all for being open and transparent but they can consume a lot of resources. Moan over ... Stay safe everyone. Hopefully not much longer now. |

Only 172 nineties in service, that is much lower than expected, we used to have them about the same numbers as the 110.
