There’s also rumours they may be moving into Castle Bromwich, well an area within it. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Yes lol but I quite like subtle design look of quad exhaust and small V8 badge on the one just announced. Not in your face like bowler/SVX one will be.

Good point. I’ve never been one for tea trays on the back (although would love a RS Cosworth Sierra now!). Always preferred quiet, understated and classic. With a little surprise in the front when my lead boot goes down

Would that be Bowler or the main SVO organisation - if we can differentiate between the two elements? I'm trying to imagine an SVR Defender vs a Bowler badged one? |

Bowler, I’ll try and find the article. Found it, now that the EV XJ has been binned they are looking at potential uses for Castle Bromwich. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-car...s-answered 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

Maybe Bowler for more extreme offroad options (That is what I think of Bowler when Bowler were trading) , SVR on road ? They don't have many years left of being able to sell the current V8 though. Plus an SVR Defender would be too close to a Sport SVR. IMHO new Defender is more a Disco replacement in the most common form/spec. Thought they say the V8 is also going in the Disco too. There are many markets that would use a super tough offroad Defender. They made a big thing of how robust the new chassis and architecture is on Defender. But you don't need lane change asssit, head up display etc if you are charging through the outback. Maybe a Bowler is for this. Personally I don't really see why they bothered, Bowler was hardly that well know outside of people on this forum ! Who knows... they have a lot of Defender variations coming. |

Right - I think the Bowler bit has been added by the magazine, rather than anything indicated by the attendees on the Investor Day. |
