Looks a bit like the effect you get with overspray from brake and clutch cleaner on some surfaces.

I’m just going through this problem with my non genuine sawtooths

Bought from supertweeks a year and 9 months ago, I’ll have to see how their customer service is.

Mine are dirty in that picture but usually just turtlewax zip wax and a sponge

If I clean it’s normally just soapy water.
Although I do get a local handwash place to clean it more often. The boss there likes my Defender so makes sure I’m looked after. No silly chemicals used.

2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 Black LE Auto Java Black

Hello all... as per Chris's post I noticed on my Urban spare last year the white spots forming, then they disappeared over winter. I came to clean the car this weekend (first time over winter) and all wheels have it the white spots. Chris who did you speak to add Urban? Would be good to know......

Ouch!

Sorry to see that. Assuming the spots are under the lacquer then it's the same problem as mine over a year ago although looks a bit worse.

It's funny (not funny) that my spare wheel is also now showing a few spots at the bottom after it's had it's wash from winter. Luckily the rest of the wheels are all fine. I was trying to remember if they changed 4 wheels and not 5 at the time as they might not all of had the problem.

Anyway, I'll PM you the details at Urban. Hope they look after you as they did me at the time.
