Just for the hard top? Maybe they're not starting production of the 90HT until the middle of the year.

I think they've already started - quite a few available on Autotrader. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

Funnily enough I've just had a letter from Land Rover saying that "while production is continuing at all Land Rover production sites, we are experiencing disruption to the supply of parts as a result of the pandemic... this may create a delay in delivery of your vehicle."
No mention of the potential length of the delay. |

I spoke to Marshall’s LR today and they told me that there is a 3 month lead time on a Defender 110 HSE.

Lack of all sorts, lights, chips, accessories...the list is long and tbh based off my D250 90 I think they’ve forgotten to fit some key parts as it’s going back to the dealership for 2nd time in a week for warning ⚠️ fault messages, dodgy brakes and now a constantly locked differential. Great car when it works but my hopes of it being reliable are quickly diminishing.

That just sounds like normal lead time based on order book and current production rate, rather than any issues: Click image to enlarge |

Spoken to them again and think they were talking rubbish and now quoting 4-5 month lead time.

Shocking. At least the new JLR MD said this yesterday.. ''We are reducing the complexity of our vehicles massively. The result will be that fewer things going wrong because the process will not be as complex," Bollore commented. |

oooof they're really not winning with the new Defender are they..
Hopefully when the V8 comes out, the mess will be solved and I can have a reliable order in. |
